(Seattle, WA) -- The Seahawks are buying in on one of their recent additions. ESPN reports Seattle is picking up the fifth-year option on tight end Noah Fant. The 24-year-old was acquired by the Seahawks from the Denver Broncos along with quarterback Drew Lock and defensive end Shelby Harris in exchange for Russell Wilson. Fant is the first player from the 2019 draft to have his fifth-year option engaged, and is the first Seahawks player to ever have his fifth-year option picked up.
