(Denver, CO) -- The Kings are taking a tough loss on the road. Los Angeles was handed a 9-3 loss by the Avalanche in Denver. Colorado scored the first four goals of the game and it proved too much to overcome for the Kings, who dropped to 39-27-and-10. Adrian Kempe, Alex Iafallo, and Phillip Danault all lit the lamp for the Kings. Los Angeles has lost four of its last five but remains in third place in the Pacific Division with 88 points. The Kings host the Blue Jackets on Saturday.
