(San Francisco, CA) -- The Warriors are getting some good news ahead of their playoff opener. ESPN reports guard Steph Curry participated in Golden State's team scrimmage on Thursday and the team is now "optimistic" he can play in Saturday's playoff opener against the Denver Nuggets. Curry will still be re-evaluated in the coming days, but cleared another hurdle towards making his return to the court. The 34-year-old has been sidelined since spraining a ligament in his left foot on March 16th.
