(Seattle, WA) -- Ty France launched a three-run bomb as the Mariners defeated the Astros 7-2 in Seattle. France gave Seattle plenty of breathing room after breaking the game open in the fourth inning. Matt Brash picked up his first career win after allowing two runs over five-and-a-third innings. The Mariners have won three of their last four to improve to 5-and-5. Seattle starts a home series with the Rangers tomorrow night.
