(Santa Clara, CA) -- The 49ers aren't making plans to trade their star wide receiver just yet. San Francisco general manager John Lynch said Monday that he "can't ever imagine moving on" from Deebo Samuel, despite the receiver's widely reported trade request. Lynch added that the 49ers have been in contact with Samuel over the past few weeks and that the 26-year-old "means so much to this franchise." Samuel is entering the final year of his rookie contract and led the team in receptions, yards and touchdowns last season.
