Mariners Fall To Rays

(St. Petersburg, FL) -- The Mariners are losing their winning streak on the road. Seattle fell 3-2 to the Rays in St. Petersburg, Florida. Marco Gonzales was charged with his second loss, but allowed only one run and exited in the first inning after getting hit by a comebacker on his left wrist. J.P. Crawford and Abraham Toro launched solo homers in the loss. The Mariners had won four straight coming in and drop to 11-and-7. The club sends right-hander Chris Flexen to the mound this morning.
