Astros Make History With Two Immaculate Innings

(Arlington, TX) -- The Astros are making some history on the mound. Houston became the first team is MLB history to throw two immaculate innings in one game in the team's 9-2 win over the Rangers in Arlington. Starting pitcher Luis Garcia and reliever Phil Maton each tossed an immaculate frame in the victory with Garcia doing it in the second inning and Maton completing the feat in the seventh. Even more improbable was the fact that both pitchers faced the same three Texas batters in the lineup: Nathaniel Lowe, Ezequiel Duran and Brad Miller.
