Oregon Officials Brace For Protests Around LIV Golf Event

(Portland, OR)  --  Portland officials are bracing for "significant" protests surrounding this week's LIV Golf event.  The tournament at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club marks the first US event for the divisive newcomer to the golf world.  The LIV Series is financially backed by the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia.  Eleven mayors from Washington County wrote a letter to the owners of Pumpkin Ridge to publicly denounce the event.  The event has also caused several members of the golf club to leave out of protest.
