After a day off, and after losing two out of three games at home to the Westcoast league's north division leading Bellingham Bells, the Bend Elks are on the road in far northern Washington state.

Bend plays a 3-game series in Wenatchee beginning tonight.

The Elks enter the series just 1-game out of first place in the south division of the W-C-L behind the Corvallis Knights who lost at Springfield last night, 3 to 1.

Wenatchee blasted Kelowna, 13 to nothing, salvaging a near series sweep to the Falcons.

The Elks travled all day yesterday to face the Apple Sox tonight with first pitch set for 635.

Wenatchee sprt, an 11 and 13 record. Bend owns the third best overall league record with a 15 and 9 mark.

The elks return home for a 6-game home standing beginning wednesday hosting the sweets of Walla Walla, then welcoming Corvallis, the defending champions, one week from tonight.
