The Bend Elks rode a seven-run 8th inning to a 9-4 victory over the Walla Walla Sweets.
 
Riley Kasper from Saddleback Community College in Vallejo, California hit a 3-run blast in the big 7th inning for his 2nd home run of the season.

Bend is now 19-10 on the season and has sole possession of second place in the South Division and is just one game back of the defending champion Corvallis Knights. The Knights visit Vince Genna Stadium tonight which kicks off a three-game weekend series.

This is the first meeting between the two squads this season, but in 2021 Bend won the season series 4-2.
