(Monterrey, Mexico) -- The United States women's national soccer team is heading back to the World Cup. The squad shut out Jamaica 5-nil in the CONCACAF-W Championship on Thursday. Sophia Smith scored twice within the first eight minutes to put the U.S. up early. Rose Lavelle, Kristie Mewis, and Trinity Rodman all added goals in the second half in the win. By winning the W Championship, the United States clinches a spot in the 2023 World Cup and the 2024 Summer Olympics.
