Blazers Defeat New Orleans 85-68; Dame Signs 2-Year Extension

Moving to the NBA, the Portland Trailblazers beat the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday 85-68. Portland’s next summer league game is against the Knicks. The tip-off is tonight at 8 pm on ESPN 2.

In other blazers news, Damian Lillard signed the dotted line for 2 more years and $122 million. The contract kicks in in 2025 when he will earn 58 million, then 62 more in 2027.

Lastly, for the blazers, the 7th overall pick Shaedon Sharpe will sit out the rest of summer league after a small labral tear in his shoulder. The rookie will be reevaluated in 8-12 days.
