In Major League Baseball the Seattle Mariners have rung up 10 straight wins after taking both games of a doubleheader in the Nation's Capital. Game one went the way of the M’s 6-4 and Seattle took the nightcap 2-1. The Mariners are 47-42 and visit the Texas Rangers this afternoon at 5. 

Also for Seattle, rookie sensation Julio Rodriguez will be participating in Monday's Home Run Derby. 

The Oakland A’s fell to the Rangers yesterday 5-2. The A’s have this afternoon off before visiting the Astros on Friday. 

Elsewhere the San Francisco Giants beat the Diamondbacks in walkoff fashion 4-3. Brandon Crawford was the hero as the Giants earned their 45th win of the year. They are in third place in the NL West. Next up for the Giants is a home game against the Brewers. The first pitch tonight is at 6:45.
