Bend Elks Drop Series to Ridgefield after 10-7 Loss

The Bend Elks are back in the losers column after falling 10-7 to Ridgefield in the rubber match of the series. The Elks Elijah Jackson and Jude Hall each hit home runs in the losing effort as Bend fell to 25-20 on the season.

With just nine regular season games left, Bend is six and a half games out of the second-half division lead, however, would make the playoffs if the season ended today. In the new West Coast League playoff format, the teams with the third and fourth best overall records in each division make the postseason, and the Elks are in fourth with a three-game lead over Yakima Valley.

Bend returns home tonight to host the Portland Pickles. The first pitch is at 6:35 and you can get tickets at https://www.bendelks.com/
