Oregon Ducks Land 5-Star Recruit; Still Waiting on City Council

The University of Oregon athletics department is waiting on approval from the Eugene city council on a land exchange that would allow the construction of a new 170,000-square-foot indoor practice facility. The project was announced last October and was to be completed in 2024.

The Ducks men's basketball team is landing a five-star recruit from the 2023 class.  Forward Kwame Evans told ESPN he is committing to play for Oregon.  Evans chose the ducks over offers from Arizona, Kentucky, and various other schools.
