NBA Suspends Suns, Mercury Owner Robert Sarver For One Year

The NBA is suspending Phoenix Suns and Mercury owner Robert Sarver for one year related to issues at the teams' workplace.  The league said it interviewed 320 different people including current and former employees who worked for Sarver in his 18-year tenure.  It found Sarver used racial slurs at least five times, made sexual-related comments to women in the workplace, and engaged in harsh treatment of employees.  The league launched an investigation into the Suns owner after an ESPN article late last year accused him of misconduct in the workplace.  Sarver has also been fined ten-million-dollars and must complete a training program focused on respect and appropriate workplace conduct.
