Seahawks RB Rashaad Penny To Miss Rest Of Season

The Seahawks are confirming the poor news regarding their starting running back.  Seattle head coach Pete Carroll said Monday that Rashaad Penny will miss the rest of the season due to a broken fibula and injured tibia in his left leg.  Carroll added that the running back will undergo surgery.  The 26-year-old suffered the injury in Sunday's loss to the Saints and was carted to the locker room in the third quarter.  Penny had rushed for 346 yards and two touchdowns through five games this season.
