U-S-A Women Upset By Spain In Soccer Friendly

The U-S Women's soccer team was upset by Spain 2-0 in an international friendly in Pamplona.  Laia Codina opened the scoring in the 39th-minute while Esther Gonzalez netted a second-half goal to seal the win.  The Spanish side rolled out a reserve squad as 15 players refused a call-up amidst a coaching dispute.  The U-S women lost to England 2-1 late last week and it's the first time the team has surrendered multiple goals in consecutive games since 2019.  The U.S. will face Germany in its next friendly on November 10th.
