Ninth-ranked Oregon was unable to make the Pac-12 championship game after losing to Number-21 Oregon State 38-34 on Saturday in Corvallis. The Beavers erased a 21-point deficit as they improved to 9-and-3. The Ducks dropped to 9-and-3. Also, Phoenix product Kenny Dillingham is returning to Arizona State. The 32-year-old has been named the new head football coach at ASU. Dillingham replaces Herm Edwards, who was fired during this season. He takes over a Sun Devils team that just finished 3-and-9 on the year. Dillingham spent this season as the offensive coordinator at Oregon.
