Broncos Fire Head Coach Nathaniel Hackett

The Denver Broncos are firing their head coach.  The team announced Nathaniel Hackett was let go after a 51-14 loss to the Rams on Christmas Day.  A statement from owner and CEO Greg Penner said the ownership group decided "a new direction" was needed.  Hackett was in his first season as Denver's head coach, but the team has struggled mightily on offense despite acquiring Russell Wilson.  The Broncos named senior assistant Jerry Rosburg as interim head coach for the rest of the season.
