Report: Derek Carr Expected To Be Released

The Raiders are moving on from their quarterback.  NFL Network reports the team will release Derek Carr in advance of his money becoming fully guaranteed.  The decision comes after Carr said over the weekend he was unwilling to accept a trade to the Saints or any other team.  The veteran quarterback has a full no-trade clause.  Carr would have made just over 40-million-dollars next season if Vegas wanted to keep him.  The 31-year-old threw for 3,522 yards with 24 touchdowns and 14 interceptions last season.  He was originally drafted by the Raiders in the second-round back in 2014.
