Ducks Start Super Regional, Blazers Draft Workouts, Elks On The Road

NHL:

Stanley Cup Final - The Florida Panthers beat the Golden Knights 3 to 2 in Overtime last night to get back into the series. Vegas has a 2-1 lead now with Game 4 in Miami tomorrow at 5.

NBA:

Finals are also 2 to 1. Game 4 is today in Miami with the Heat trying to even up the series. Denver, coming off some record setting individual performances, will try to take a commanding lead. Tip off is at 5:30

Basketball:

The Trail Blazers worked out 6 more players Thursday ahead of the Draft; now less than two weeks away. The group are 2nd round caliber including Malachi Smith from Gonzaga. Portland has not yet seen top prospect Brandon Miller but are expected to. A lot of reports have him going to Charlotte with the 2nd pick. The craziest rumor I've read today was the Clippers considering Paul George for the Blazers number 3 selection.

MLB:

San Francisco beat Colorado yesterday to get the sweep. Now it’s back to Oracle Park for a weekend series against the Cubs; first pitch at 7:15 tonight.

Ace Pitchers face off in Anaheim: The Mariners with Luis Castillo take on Shohei Ohtani and the Angels tonight at 6:38.

College Baseball:

The Oregon Ducks start their best of 3 NCAA Super Regional series at PK Park today against Oral Roberts. First pitch is at 5.

Soccer:

The Portland Thorns lead the NWSL with only 1 loss and a +14 goal differential. They play in Orlando Sunday afternoon at 4.

The Portland Timbers are currently out of playoff contention but will look to get things going against 4th place Dallas. It’s a Sunday night match in Portland starting at 7.

Local:

The Bend Elks are at Yakima Valley for a weekend series starting tonight at 6:35.
