Blazers Lose In Houston...OSU's Bazanna Pac 12 Player Of The Week

The Trail Blazers lost in Houston last night. They actually led at the half but surrendered the lead in the 3rd quarter and ended up getting blown out 110 to 92. With four usual starters all sitting with injuries, Portland went with an All Rookie starting five again.  But it was recent trade acquisition Delano Banton who led the team with 28 points.  The  Blazers have dropped 7 in a row. A bright spot is Shaedon Sharpe is rehabbing with the G League affiliate Rip City Remix, so the guard is on his way back to the line-up. Jerami Grant, Deandre Ayton, Anfernee Simons and Matisse Thybulle are all going to be day to day during this road trip though. They’re in Atlanta tomorrow.
