Starts Pac 12 Softball Tourney Today

MLB: 

The Mariners gave up two different leads, but rallied to score 4 runs in the 9th to beat Minnesota yesterday 10 to 6.  Cal Raleigh had a pinch hit go-ahead grand slam the first time the Ms came back. Seattle is back at it again today in game three of the four game series. First pitch against the Twins is at 4:40.

San Francisco blanked the Rockies yesterday. Kyle Harrison scattered 4 hits in 7 innings. The Giants jumped out in the 4th inning to score four of their five runs. LaMont Wade Jr had two RBI.  Their back at it again today in Colorado starting at 5:40

College Softball:

The Beavers are seeded eighth in the Pac-12 Tournament, and will meet ninth-seeded Arizona State tonight at 7.

Oregon moved down to number 21 in the USA Softball poll and up to number 24 in the Coaches poll. The Ducks open the Pac 12 tournament against Utah tomorrow at 10 am.

College Football: 

Oregon State will get former Florida State defensive end Josh Griffis via the transfer portal. Griffis also spent time at Jackson State under then-head coach Deion Sanders.

NFL:

A new report from ESPN confirms a previous report in the Athletic that the 49ers were looking to deal wide receiver Deebo Samuel just before the NFL draft started. San Francisco drafted receiver Ricky Pearsall with its first selection. Samuel or receiver Brandon Aiyuk could be on the trading block this offseason.
