The Ms are in Kansas City today to take on the Royals who sit in second place in the AL Central but have a better record than the AL West leading Mariners. First pitch in KC is at 5:10
San Francisco’s long road trip continues in Texas.They stopped the six game slide in Arizona to get 30 and 33. That’s 3rd in the NL West. The Rangers sit at 30 and 32 in the AL West. First pitch from Arlington is at 5:05.
Local:
It was a warm night at Vince Genna Stadium but the Bend bats stayed cold as they lost to Corvallis 7 to 1 last night to get swept by the undefeated Knights. The Elks fall to 2 and 4. Now it’s on the road to take on Springfield who are 2 and 3 in the first week of the season. First pitch against the Drifters is at 6:35.
College Baseball:

Oregon faces number three overall seed Texas A & M in College Station, Texas tomorrow morning starting at 11, game two is Sunday and game three will be Monday if necessary.
15 seeded Oregon State is in Lexington to take on number two overall seed Kentucky in the best of three series starting tomorrow afternoon at 3. Game 2 will be Sunday night at 6. And if a game three is needed it will be Monday afternoon. Another day another awards finalist for Travis Bazzana is nominated for the Dick Howser award voted on by the baseball writers for the top player of the year.
Soccer:
The Portland Timbers, unbeaten in their last three matches are in St Louis tomorrow at 5:30.
The Portland Thorns have a big home match against North Carolina tomorrow at 7.
