MLB:
Seattle got the W in dramatic fashion last night with a Cal Raleigh Walk-off grand slam to beat the White Sox 8 to 4. Earlier in the game, manager Scott Servais was thrown out arguing in Raleigh’s defense of a called strike three. The Mariners scored all 8 of their runs in the last two innings for the comeback against Chigaco. It extends their division lead to 5 and a half games over idle Texas. Ms and Chisox again tonight. First pitch is at 6:40
San Francisco got by the Astros in extra innings yesterday. Austin Slater’s bases-loaded long fly off the wall sent the Giants to a 4 to 3 win in the bottom of the 10th. Pitcher Kyle Harrison pitched 6 and a third and gave up the only earned run to Houston who scored two unearned in the top of the 10th. That gets SF to a game under .500 and a half game behind the Padres for second in the West. First pitch tonight against the ‘Stros is at 6:45.
