College Football: 

Oregon State and new head coach Trent Bray take the field tomorrow after a turbulent offseason that saw the demise of a historic conference and an exodus of players and coaches. All that’s behind the Beavers now as the  Idaho State Bengals come to Corvallis. OSU is favored by 28 and a half. Kick off is at 3:30.

Oregon’s season of high hopes in a different conference in the beginning of a new era of college football finally starts tomorrow. The Ducks are favored by 44 and a half over Idaho. In a season like this, playing in the Big 10 now with other national championship contenders all the style points will count and no stumbles will be allowed. The Giants were shutout 6 to nothing in Milwaukee. They’re back home in San Francisco tonight to take on the Miami Marlins. First pitch at 7:10.
