Ducks FB Stays No. 1...Blazers' Big Win...Ducks, Beavs BB Wins

College Football:

Oregon remains number one in the second week of playoff rankings. Washington State is number 18, at 8 -1 the Cougars only loss is to Boise State, who comes in at number 13 in the rankings but at this point would earn the 12th seed in the playoffs being the fifth highest ranked conference champion.

Oregon State plans to stick with starter Ben Gulbranson against Air Force Saturday.

NBA:

A game after the embarrassing loss Sunday, the Trail Blazers were inspired last night to shoot over 51% from the field and an incredible 18 of 32 from three point range. 7 Blazers reached double figures. The 122 to 108 final over Minnesota gives Portland a big win in the opening of the NBA Cup in-season tournament. The teams battle each other again tonight in a plain old regular season game. Tip-off from the Moda Center against the Timberwolves is at 7.

College Hoops: 

The number 25 ranked Oregon Women had a nice win over the North Texas Mean Green yesterday 66 - 35. 

The Oregon State Women rolled over Northwest Nazarene 80-52.

The OSU Men took out Western Oregon 94 -58.

The Ducks Men's team got down early against Portland but the comeback attempt paid off with an 80 - 70 overtime win.

OSAA Girls Soccer State semifinals Bend just got past Caldera 2 - 1 to go to Saturday’s final.

OSAA Boys Soccer State semis Summit got a 3 - 1 win over Woodburn to advance to the final Saturday.
