Ducks FB Stay No. 1...Beavs FB Drop 5th Straight...Blazers 3rd Straight W!

College Football:

Oregon got out of Madison, Wisconsin with a narrow 16 - 13 win but it was enough to stay the unanimous number one in both the Associated Press and the Coaches polls. The 11 - 0 Ducks will await tomorrow’s playoff rankings, and look at a week of getting healthy with a bye this Saturday. Coaches and players talk about the win over the Badgers on the Oregon Ducks Insider daily podcast. 

Oregon State dropped its 5th game in a row in getting shut out by Air Force. The 4 - 6 Beavers lost starting Quarterback Ben Gulbranson to an injury and couldn’t get anything going offensively. They had the ball for less than 20 of the game’s 60 minutes. 

Washington State fell to number 25 in the AP poll and dropped out entirely from the Coaches poll after losing to New Mexico. The Cougars are now 8 - 2.

NBA:

The Trail Blazers have won three in a row after holding off the Hawks 114 - 110 yesterday. Portland moves to 6 and 8 thanks to the 32 point effort of Shaedon Sharpe. Scoot Henderson dished out 10 assists. They’re back on the road Wednesday in Oklahoma City.

NFL: Week 11

Geno Smith ran for the game winning touchdown with 12 seconds left and the Seahawks came back to beat the 49ers 20 - 17 yesterday. Smith shook off an earlier interception to engineer the final drive that ties Seattle with San Francisco, and the L.A. Rams at 5 - 5 in the division. Idle Arizona is at the top at 6 - 4. 

College Basketball:

The Oregon State Women lost yesterday to Arizona State to go to 1 - 3 on the season.

The Ducks Men's team blew out Troy University by 21 yesterday to get to 4 - 0. 

Tonight at 6 the number 25 ranked Oregon Women play Grand Canyon.

Local:

OSAA High School Playoffs 

Football In 5A, 2nd-seeded Mountain View will play number 6 West Albany in a semifinal this Friday.
