Ducks' Gabriel AP Big 10 Offensive Player...OSU's Christian-Lichtenhan Pac 12 O Line Standout

College Football:

The Associated Press Big 10 Offensive player of the year is Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel. The record setting Heisman Trophy candidate is on the all conference first team along with tackle Josh Conerly Jr, and defensive end Derrick Harmon. Four Ducks also earned second team Big 10 honors including running back Jordan James and wide receiver Tez Johnson on offense, and defensive standouts at linebacker Matayo Uiagalelei and Bryce Boettcher. Gabriel has also accepted an invitation to the Senior Bowl.

Yesterday, the Big Ten Conference announced the 2025 schedule, with seven regular-season games once again at Autzen Stadium. The Ducks’ home-opener is against FCS powerhouse Montana State on August 30th, before welcoming Oklahoma State on September 6th. The Big Ten season starts on September 13th at Northwestern, then Oregon State visits Eugene on September 20th.

Oregon State’s Gerad Christian-Lichtenhan was named the top Offensive Lineman in the Pac-12 Conference following the 2024 season by a vote of conference staff and media. This season, the Pac-12 selected standout performers who will be recognized as "Top Performers" in the league's archives and historical records. Thanks to OSU Beavers dot com Athletic Communications for providing that information. The rest of the players selected were all from Washington State. The Cougars finished 8 - 4 and are headed to the very respectable Holiday Bowl to play Syracuse on December 27th in San Diego.

NFL: Week 15

The 49ers are hoping running back Isaac Guerendo can go, same for edge rusher Nick Bosa, but will be without tackle Trent Williams among others. We’ll see how San Francisco’s offense works around apparently disgruntled wide receiver Deebo Samuel. The 9ers are 3 point favorites over the Rams as they look to tie them up in the division and get to .500 at 7 - 7. Kick-off from Levi Stadium is at 5:15.

The Seahawks may be without running back Kenneth Walker III for another game after he was a scratch against Arizona, as he is dealing with a calf injury that he sustained in the Week 13 win over the Jets. K9 was among nine players out of practice yesterday.
