Oregon State’s starting inside linebackers from the 2024 season Isaiah Chisom and Melvin Jordan will enter the transfer portal according to BeaverBlitz. So will Luka Vincic, a redshirt sophomore offensive lineman who announced he will go to Michigan State, joining Jonathon Smith and the staff who originally recruited him to be a Beaver.
Also out of Corvallis, offensive linemen Joshua Gray and Gerad Christian-Lichtenhan have accepted invitations to play in the East-West Shrine Game next month.
The Ducks landed a couple more transfer commits over the weekend: Purdue safety Dillion Thieneman, the 2023 Big 10 Freshman of the year, is going to Oregon. Northwestern’s highly-touted Cornerback Theran Johnson is also going to Eugene. And what some fans and media members were calling a huge move, running back coach and Associate Head Coach Ra'Shaad Samples reportedly told the coaching staff he would continue in his role after being a finalist for the Sam Houston head coach opening.
