Beavs' MBB Falls in Diamond Head Final...Blazers Host Jazz

College Football:

Oregon State lost a freshman wide receiver to the transfer portal this week but otherwise it's been quiet in Corvallis. Which is good news for the moment.

We’re now less than a week away from the Rose Bowl. Oregon head coach Dan Lanning said at a recent press conference he prefers to have the team practice in Eugene as long as they can before having to make the trip to Pasadena. Essentially only arriving early enough to fulfill media obligations.

Hear from Oregon coaches and players about tangling with Ohio State again on the Ducks Insider daily podcast.

Coverage starts at Noon New Years Day here on KBND.

The NCAA’s recent ruling on eligibility for players who attended junior college will likely have an impact on both Ducks and Beavers programs.

In other recruiting news, Mountain View high School’s Jack Foley announced on his social media he will be decommitting from Washington State and intends to play at Wake Forest. The Wide Receiver will be following former Washington State coach Jake Dickert to North Carolina to be a Demon Deacon.
