NBA:
The Trail Blazers started the east coast swing on a good note with a win over the Heat last night. Anfernee Simons came back from injury to lead the team with 24 points. Deandre Ayton had a strong 22 points and 15 rebounds. 7 Blazers reached double figures to contribute to the 116 - 107 final, the first back to back victories since late December. Next it’s on to Orlando tomorrow.
College Basketball:
The number 15 Oregon men are now 16 - 3 overall, and 5 - 3 in the Big 10. The Ducks beat Washington last night at Matthew Knight Arena. After getting down in the early going they led by 2 at the half, before eventually pulling away at the end to take the 82 - 71 victory.

NFL:
Seattle continues interviews for offensive coordinator candidates. Whoever gets hired may not have wide receiver DK Metcalf in the mix. An ESPN informal poll of NFL executives think the LA Chargers are likely to make a deal for Metcalf. This off-season is probably the ceiling for the veteran pass catcher’s trade-value.
Local:
OSAA Girls Basketball coaches polls this week. 5A - Summit is number 7, right behind the Storm in the 8th spot is Redmond. Caldera also received votes and landed just outside of the official top 10.
Tonight, IMC boys and girls basketball has Mountain View vs Bend, Ridgeview against Caldera. And Redmond at Summit in Boys.
