College Basketball:

The Oregon Men are now 8 - 8 in the Big 10 after escaping Iowa with an 80 - 78 win last night.  The Ducks have won 3 in a row after holding off a big Hawkeye comeback attempt as heard on KBND. The Ducks have an early one at Wisconsin Saturday.
The Oregon Women fell to Nebraska in overtime yesterday 94 to 90 to drop into a tie with the Cornhuskers in Big 10 records but are now a place behind them in the standings because of the loss. The UO Women play Rutgers Sunday.

College Baseball:

7th ranked Oregon State had their game against Houston cancelled yesterday due to weather in Round Rock, Texas. The Beavers game against 2nd ranked Virginia has been moved up to a 2 pm start tomorrow.

 

Softball:

Number 19 Oregon plays Cal and number 5 Tennessee at the Mary Nutter Classic today.

The Beavers are also at the Cathedral City California tournament to face Tennessee and Cal State Northridge today.

 

Local:

Courtside for CASA Pickleball Classic begins today and runs through Sunday at the Premier Pickleball Club in Redmond. This inaugural event supports CASA of Central Oregon.

The OSAA Boys Basketball poll: In 4A Crook County is 4th and Madras is 6th, Trinity Lutheran is 5th in 2A,  No 5A poll this week because not enough coaches voted.

Boys hoops tonight: Those number 6 White Buffaloes are in Prineville to take on the number 4 ranked Cowboys.
