NBA:
The Trail Blazers ran into a buzz saw in Sacramento last night. The Kings’ shooting was red hot and Portland was cold. Final score 128 - 107. Deni Avdija led the way with 24, Anfernee Simons contributed 20, but other players struggled to get going. So, the 9 seed is not happening for the play-in game…there was only a small percent chance of that anyway. Next up is a trip to Madison Square Garden to face the Knicks Sunday afternoon.
MLB opening day wins yesterday:
The Giants took game one in Cincinnati. The series continues through the weekend.
The Mariners beat the Athletics 4 - 2 at T-Mobile park. First pitch tonight is at 7:10

Number 10 Oregon is on the road this weekend in Columbus, Ohio for a three game series with the Buckeyes. First pitch today is at 3.
