The Seattle Mariners finish their nine-game homestand with a 3-6 record after being swept by Baltimore. The Mariners lost to the Orioles 4-3 at T-Mobile Park yesterday. With this defeat, their record stands at 32-29, a game behind the Houston Astros in the American League West. Seattle is scheduled to face the Angels in Anaheim on the road tonight starting at 6:38.
Robbie Ray delivered an impressive performance Thursday, striking out nine Padres over seven innings to secure a 3-2 win for the Giants. This outing matched his season-best strikeout total and pushed him past Paul Skenes on the National League leaderboard. Following his recent recognition as the NL’s pitcher of the month, Ray helped the Giants earn a split in the four-game series against San Diego. Atlanta visits tonight with first pitch scheduled for 7:15.
