Storm Visit Aces Tomorrow

NBA:

The Draft is a week away and the Trail Blazers are hearing offers on various players either ahead of or after next Thursday. One of the latest reports says the Los Angeles Lakers inquired about center Robert Williams 111. The former second team defensive player hasn’t played much since being included in part of the Damian Lillard trade.

 

WNBA:

The Storm are set to wrap up their three-game road trip.  Seattle will visit the Las Vegas Aces tomorrow night in Sin City.  The team is coming off a 98-67 win over the Los Angeles Sparks on Tuesday.  Nneka Ogwumike paced the team with 26 points in the victory.  The Storm have won four of five to enter at 7-and-5.

 

MLB:

San Francisco lost to Cleveland 4 - 2 last night. Heliot Ramos had a two run homer. Justin Verlander allowed 3 runs in 4.2 innings in his return to the mound off the injured list. The series finishes today against the Guardians. First pitch at 1:05. 

 

Seattle lost 3 -1 to Boston yesterday, dropping the series and falling to 37 and 36, 5.5 games behind the Astros. It’s on the road to Chicago for a weekend series with the Cubs starting tomorrow.

 

Local:

The Bend Elks lost 9 - 5 to Springfield last night. The series with the Drifter finishes tonight. First pitch from Vince Genna stadium is 6:30.
