COLLEGE FOOTBALL:
The Oregon football team added to its 2026 recruiting class. The Ducks received commitments from five-star offensive tackle Immanuel Iheanacho and four-star safety Devin Jackson on Thursday. Oregon now has 14 commitments to its 2026 class, which is ranked 10th in the nation by 247Sports.
LOCAL:
The Elks are in the second half of their season now after returning from the Corvallis series. Tomorrow its the first ever game against the expansion Marion Berries.
Jeremiah Robbins, renowned for leading Lewis-Clark State to three consecutive NAIA baseball titles and two national runner-up finishes, is set to return as head coach in 2026. Robbins previously guided LC State from 2013 to 2018, achieving a remarkable 270-71 record. His career also includes seven straight Division II GNAC championships at Western Oregon and reviving Umpqua Community College's baseball program after a 25-year hiatus. Robbins most recently served as athletic director at Douglas High School before stepping down last week.
