NBA:
The Portland Trailblazers have a new owner. A deal was struck late Tuesday for the team to be purchased by Tom Dundon… the owner of the Carolina Hurricanes hockey team. Reports indicate Dundon and his group of investors plan to keep the team in Portland. The deal could likely take months to finalize by NBA owners. It was the wish of late owner Paul Allen to have his family sell both the Trail Blazers and Seattle Seahawks upon his death.
The franchise went up for sale earlier this year.

The Rays visit for a weekend series starting tomorrow.
