The Oregon State football team lost a play maker for the year. Beavers wide receiver Darrius Clemons will not play this season after rupturing his Achilles, he announced on social media. Clemons caught 25 passes for 292 yards and two touchdowns last season, his first with OSU. The Beavers will begin the regular season Saturday at home against former Pac-12 foe Cal.
The Oregon football team is reportedly adding a former star to its staff. According to The Oregonian, former Duck safety Verone McKinley The Third is joining the team's recruiting staff. McKinley had 167 total tackles and 11 interceptions over four years in Eugene before a brief career in the NFL. Oregon will begin this season Saturday at home against Montana State.
