Oregon State will play BYU in Las Vegas in 2028 as part of the Vegas Kickoff Classic. The game will be held Labor Day Weekend with a time and ESPN family of networks broadcast info to be determined for the matchup.

MLB:

San Francisco beat Colorado 10 – 8 yesterday behind two home runs from Matt Chapman who was playing while appealing his suspension for his role in a benches-emptying scuffle during Tuesday’s game. The sweep means the Giants are now four games out of the final NL wild card spot.

Seattle continues to slide on the road after getting swept out of Tampa yesterday, losing 9 – 4. Julio Rodriguez homered, but Cal Raleigh had a day off. The Ms drop four games behind Houston in the division, and a game and a half ahead of Texas in the division and the last wild card spot.

MBB:

Oregon will play Gonzaga on December 21 at Moda Center in Portland.

Tickets are set to go on sale September 11. The high-profile nonconference matchup will be the 27th meeting between the Ducks and Bulldogs and first since the 2019-20 season; they’ve hooped it up dating back to 1912.
