(Oakland, CA)  --  Stephen Curry exploded for 38 points, eight assists and seven rebounds as the Warriors crushed the Trail Blazers, 103-88, at ORACLE Arena.  David Lee added 17 points and 12 rebounds for Golden State, which was 2-and-5 in its last seven games before the victory.  LaMarcus Aldridge shot 2-of-14 from the field with 10 points and 11 rebounds in the loss.  Wesley Matthews paced Portland with 21 points.  The Blazers had a two-game winning streak snapped.

(Newark, NJ)  --  The Seattle Seahawks are in New Jersey for the final week of preparations leading up to their Super Bowl showdown with the Denver Broncos.  Thousands of Seahawks fans gathered yesterday to cheer for the team as it made its way by bus from Seahawks headquarters in Renton to Sea-Tac International Airport.   Fans lined the route to the airport, holding up 12th Man signs and chanting as the entourage passed.  The forecast for East Rutherford, New Jersey next Sunday is for a high in the mid-30s and about a 35-percent chance of rain or snow showers.
