CFB:

Number 5 seeded Oregon is preparing for number 12 James Madison in its College Football Playoff game Saturday.

The Ducks hope to get receivers Dakorien Moore and Gary Bryant Jr. back from injury. Both haven’t played since October.

Four players were named all-Americans yesterday by the Associated Press with offensive lineman Emmanuel Pregnon on the first team, tight end Kenyon Sadiq and defensive back Dillon Thieneman on the second team and offensive lineman Iapani Laloulu on the third team.

Oregon's four selections are the most AP all-Americans in a season in program history.

Oregon State University and consulting firm Blueprint Sports have agreed to end their partnership after sports business media outlet Sportico revealed details of their NIL deal that sparked backlash among Beavers fans.

Blueprint will retain a 280-thousand dollar management fee but must transfer all net proceeds from its brief tenure to OSU’s revenue-sharing account.

The dissolution also severs official ties between the university and Dam Nation Collective.

The Trail Blazers recalled forward Rayan Rupert from the G-League Rip City remix yesterday. Portland is getting set this week for a home-and-away contest against Sacramento Thursday and Saturday.
