CFB:
Oregon is on to Atlanta for the Peach Bowl next Friday in the playoff semi-finals.
The 5th seeded Ducks shutout number 4 seed Texas Tech 23 – 0 yesterday in Miami’s Orange Bowl. The U of O will face Indiana for a chance to get to the national championship game. The top-seeded Hoosiers are the only team to beat Oregon this season. Head coach Dan Lanning says it was a satisfying win.

The Oregon Women got their first win of the Big 10 conference season with a blowout of Northwestern yesterday. The win improves the Ducks overall record to 13 – 3 and 1 – 2 in the Big 10.
The Oregon Men are on the road at Maryland today to resume their Big 10 season. Coverage starts at 4. Tip-off at 4:30 on KBND.
The Oregon State men play at Pacific tonight at 7.
The Oregon State Women host Pacific at Gill Coliseum tonight at 6.
NBA:
The Trail Blazers are back on the road with a 14 – 20 record looking to shake-off a blowout to Oklahoma City on New Year’s Eve. It’s just a quick weekend trip to New Orleans tonight and San Antonio tomorrow. Tip-off against the Pelicans is at 5.
NFL:
The Seahawks and 49ers battle for the NFC top playoff seed tomorrow.
San Francisco hosts the game getting a slight point and a half home field advantage over Seattle. Kickoff is 5 pm.
