Oregon To Face Indiana In CFP

CFB:

Oregon is on to Atlanta for the Peach Bowl Friday in the playoff semi-finals.

Yesterday Ducks Head Coach Dan Lanning and Hoosiers Head Coach Curt Cignetti spoke to media with each coach praising the other’s team.

Lanning said Indiana is ‘one of, if not the best coached teams in college football," while Cignetti addressed an advantage Oregon may have saying

"It's hard to beat a great team twice”.

The Semi-final Kick offs at 4:30 with coverage starting at 2:30 Friday afternoon on KBND.

Oregon State has seen several players announce their transfer portal intentions, including popular back-up quarterback Tristan Ti’a. The redshirt-freshman started the final game against Washington State.

 

CBB:

The Oregon State men were blown out at Washington State last night dropping to 1 – 3 after a lop-side result in Stockton against Pacific Friday night.

The Oregon Men are on the road at Rutgers today after getting their first conference and road win Friday vs Maryland. Tip-off is 4 with coverage starting at 3:30 this afternoon on KBND.

NBA:

The Trail Blazers are back home after a successful weekend road trip with wins in New Orleans Friday night and San Antonio Saturday. The surprising win over the Western conference 2nd-place Spurs puts Portland at 16 – 20. The Blazers two-game win streak comes as they’ve won six of their last 10. Tonight, the Jazz visit the Moda center with a 7 pm tip-off.

NFL:

The Seahawks will get a week to rest and scout potential opponents after beating San Francisco Saturday to lock up the NFC West division and earn a bye to the second round of the playoffs.

Meanwhile the 49ers must go to Philadelphia as the 6th seed in the conference.
