NBA:
The Trail Blazers five game win streak was snapped by the Knicks last night. Portland’s 123 -114 loss to Eastern Conference 2nd-place New York drops them to 19 – 21 on the season.
Of major concern is forward Deni Avdija’s lower back! He grabbed it after coming down for a rebound in the 4th quarter and went to the locker room. Coach Tiago Splitter couldn’t say much about the injury in his post-game comments. Avdija leads the NBA in minutes-played, and has been the team’s best player so far this season.
The Blazers have a big matchup in San Francisco tomorrow in a nationally televised game against Golden State.
CFB:
Oregon’s season ended Friday in Atlanta with a 56 – 22 final against Indiana. Head coach Dan Lanning says they lost to a tough opponent.
Lanning admitted the Ducks’’ offense was limited by the Hoosiers’ Defense.

NFL:
San Francisco will play the Seahawks for the third time this season. The 49ers will go to Seattle for the Divisional round of the playoffs after an upset of defending champion Philadelphia.
