Oregon could have a quarterback battle for next season…or a new transfer portal signing means something else?
Nebraska transfer quarterback Dylan Raiola [[ rye-OH-la ]] announced his commitment to Oregon Monday.
The former five-star recruit has started 23 games over the past two seasons with the Cornhuskers.
Current Ducks starter Dante Moore has not declared his decision on whether he will enter the NFL Draft or return to Eugene next season. Raiola is currently recovering from a broken right fibula that he suffered in a loss to USC on November 1st.

College baseball:
Oregon State will open the season as the nation's No. 12 team in the D1Baseball.com preseason top-25 rankings. It's the second preseason top-25 for the Beavers, who are at Number 7 in the Perfect Game rankings from last week.
Oregon State has finished in the top-25 of D1Baseball's postseason rankings for four consecutive seasons, including a No. 4 mark last season. The Beavers opened last season at No. 7.
The Beavers' 2026 opener is slated one month from today, February 13 against Michigan in Surprise, Ariz.
NFL:
Seahawks receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba was a first-team selection on the Associated Press All-Pro team, while four Seahawks earned second-team honors.
San Francisco 49ers Fullback Kyle Juszczyk and running back Christian McCaffrey were selected as First-Team All-Pros.
San Francisco will play the Seahawks Saturday in the Divisional playoff round.
