UO QB Moore Stays

NBA:

The Trail Blazers severely missed Deni Avdija Tuesday against Golden State. Portland’s rising star sat out with a back injury but is listed as Doubtful for tonight’s game against Atlanta. That’s an upgrade from Out so good news that the injury hopefully won’t sideline Avdija too long. Other positives from the injury report are Jerami Grant is up to Questionable, and Jrue Holiday should be a full go after playing 21 minutes in the loss to the Warriors. Blazers v Hawks tonight at the Moda Center tipping off at 7.

CFB:

Oregon is keeping its quarterback.  Dante Moore announced Wednesday that he will remain in Eugene, forgoing a chance to enter the NFL Draft.  Moore threw for 3,565 yards with 30 touchdowns and 10 interceptions this season, leading the Ducks to the College Football Playoff semifinals.  Moore was projected to be a top pick should he have declared.

Earlier in the week transfer Dylan Raiola announced he is going to Eugene. The Ducks will also have redshirt freshman Akili Smith Jr.
