Oregon has promoted Chris Hampton to defensive coordinator and Drew Mehringer to offensive coordinator.
Head coach Dan Lanning praises both for their leadership and success, noting Hampton’s elite defensive performance… and Mehringer’s role shaping a top national offense.
Hampton helped Oregon lead the nation in pass breakups and guided top defensive players, while Mehringer developed record-setting tight ends and maintained one of college football’s most productive offenses.

The Seahawks and 49ers get a season deciding rubber match in their rivalry tomorrow night in the NFC divisional round of the playoffs.
The road team won each time during the regular season.
The Seahawks are the NFC's top seed for the fourth time in franchise history.
The 49ers are coming off a first round upset of the defending champion Philadelphia Eagles.
The teams are meeting for the third time in the playoffs with each team having won once.
Kickoff is 5 pm tomorrow in Seattle.
