NBA:
The return of Deni Avdija was welcome to the Trail Blazers line-up in Sacramento last night. Portland held off the Kings 117 – 110 to get to 22 – 22 on the season. Avdija led all scorers with 30 points. The Blazers beat the LA Lakers Saturday night to solidify the 9th spot in the western conference.
Next up, it’s a break until Thursday when the Heat visit.
NFL:
The Seahawks are celebrating a playoff victory for the first time since 2019. The team won their season series with the NFC West rival 49ers in a 41-6 win in the Divisional Round in Seattle.
The ‘Hawks will play the Rams in a divisional rubber match for the NFC Championship.
Rams at Seahawks Kickoff is 3:30 this Sunday.
CBB:
The Oregon State Women came back for a one-point win over Pepperdine to move to 6 – 1 in the West Coast Conference.
The Oregon Women lost by two in double overtime 94 – 92 to Wisconsin yesterday. The Ducks are 2 – 5 in the Big 10.
The Oregon Men lost a tough one to number 4 Michigan Saturday, dropping their 4th straight. The Ducks are 1 – 6 in the conference as they severely miss their two best players sitting out with injuries. Tomorrow it’s on the road at number 12 Michigan State.
The Oregon State men were blown out by Pacific over the weekend to slip to 3 – 5 in the conference.
